Duties of the Receptionist, Front Desk, include but are not limited to:
First line of contact with visitors to the office window
Checking voice mail and recording any messages
Unlocking unit file cabinets and ensuring they are locked at the end of the day'
Receiving incoming phone calls and recording messages for follow-up with maintenance staff or office staff
Recording of returned Termite Inspection forms
Responsible for updating resident files with copies of insurance information
Written receipt to unit owners paying maintenance in cash or check, if requested
Receipt of Alteration Forms from unit owners ensuring all pertinent information has been recorded including a copy of the contractor's license and insurance
Preparation of letters to unit owners or renters
Receipt of mail and distribution to proper person
Recording of names submitted for the weekly bus
Recording of names of sign-in sheets for any activities planned for residents. Receipt of cash for those activities, if required.
