The Matawan Aberdeen Public Library seeks a responsible, detail-oriented individual to join our friendly team.

Primary Duties:

• Shelving library materials in proper order
• Checking the order of materials on the shelf
• Answering directional questions
• Assisting with other projects/activities as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 16 years old
• Must have the ability to follow written and oral instructions
• Must have the ability to learn the Dewey Decimal System and other library filing systems

Salary: $15.49/hr.

Hours: Tuesdays, 3-6pm, and Sundays, 1-5pm; plus occasional fill-ins.

Interviews will be held in July and the start date will be in August. This is a permanent year-round position.
